What happens during the assessment visit?
A senior member of the Homecare team will visit you at a prearranged time to discuss in detail your needs. Depending on how complex your needs are our assessment visits take between 30 minutes (domestic and shopping only cases) to 90 minutes long.
Our assessment visits are very holistic and will consider not just what you would like us to help you with but the team will also make suggestions, provide information or make referrals to other services. Every assessment visit will consider what support you already have in place, how you manage day to day, whether you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to and finally agree a care package.
